Wednesday without daddy

I woke up this morning to the sounds of planes taking off in the game room. Then Eli came and got in bed with me for a few minutes and tried to use the remote.

It works better upside down, or at least that's what Eli thinks.

When Eli gets up in the morning he wants to eat right away and does not like to wait for me to fix it. Normally I'm up and have it ready to go. But Eli has been waking up really early lately and I haven't been able to get up before him. I put Eli on the counter while I fixed breakfast and he decided I wasn't going fast enough so he got himself a banana off the banana tree and peeled it all by himself.

And successfully peeled it and ate it. So he didn't eat much of the breakfast I fixed.

After the gym today we went to the movies. The movie this week was Open Season. Eli only lasted 45 minutes this time. So we went to the arcade area and I let him play around for a bit.

After Eli's nap we went to Market Street to play in the fountains. Here are some pictures of our evening.

After the fountains we went to Lubys for dinner since Wednesday evenings kids eat for $2 and the amount of food they give the kids Eli can eat for days. I love that I can now give Eli choices like between blue or green jello. He choose green and loved it. After Lubys we came home and I discovered that Eli can take the safety guards out of the electrical sockets, awesome. I have a hard time taking them out. That little guy suprises me with things everyday!
