Eli's Imagination

I am always amazed at how imaginative Eli is at such an early age. One example is the other day we went to Bouncing Bears with our play group. There was a new bounce house there, it was a Wall E bounce house and on the outside of it, it was decorated with pictures of Fire. Well Eli just loved it he got in and started telling me the walls are fire and they are very hot. So he would go over to the wall of the bounce house and get "fire". He would walk the fire all over the place. He got out of the bounce house at one point and while holding his fingers together said he was carrying fire. He would show everyone the fire he was carrying. At one point we went to have a snack and he set the "fire" down on the bench next to him while he ate and when he was through he picked up the "fire" again. He finally went back to the fire bounce house to put the fire back in the bounce house.

Cousins & Ice cream

Today Eli and I went down to Kemah to visit with Thomas' cousins from South Carolina. I haven't seen them since the girls where little bitty (wow they have gotten big!) and Eli has never met them. So we met up with them at GG's house along with Grandma, Aunt Melissa. Then we all headed over to the Kemah boardwalk.

First we rode the train. Eli loved it and sat on the edge of his seat the whole time!

After the train Melissa and I took the boys to get a hotdog while the others rode some rides then we all met up to play in the fountain.

Eli had so much fun playing with his cousin Leah.

I don't care much for being pregnant (that is probably why I haven't posted much since getting pregnant). But I have to say this is one of the perks of pregnancy!

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful mother's day today. It started at 5:40 when a little boy started making noises right by my ear. Luckily when I put him in our bed he went back to sleep. Of course I couldn't fall back to sleep because my new little one thinks it's a good idea to sit right on my bladder! So while my boys snored I came downstairs to fix my breakfast and eat in the quietness of the morning. When E woke up for good this morning we snuggled in bed and watched Diego while Thomas got ready to go. Thomas and I did have a bit if a misunderstanding. I thought he was taking E out for donuts before church and leaving me home to get ready for church and Thomas was thinking that we would all go and get donuts and then head to church. I was able to get ready real quick and we all went for donuts!

After church my boys took me to brunch at the Marriott. I love brunch, what is better than breakfast and lunch at the same time! We enjoyed the brunch and I thought E was very well behaved. Eli just loved the chocolate fountain, sadly this is the only picture that I took all day!

After brunch we all came home for naps. All of us including the cat took some kind of nap. Once everyone woke up from nap we went for snowcones and to the park.

I love Sundays like this, just nice and relaxing. I can;t wait till next year when I will be a mother of 2!
