I don't know if I remember not having a busy weekend! My crazy fun Weekend started on Friday evening for me. I went to Texas Road House Friday night to celebrate a good friends 29th birthday. It was a nice way to start out a fun filled weekend.
Saturday we got up and did our normal morning routine. Then we went to Choice Tee for the 2nd annual Family Fun Day for Spring Assistant Ministries. They were having a 5K fun run to start out the events. I ran it and beat my fastest 5k time. I ran it in 27 minutes ad 48 seconds. I also came in 2nd over all. It was a really small race, though. Even though this is the 1st I ever placed in any kind of race! (except when I was on swim team as a kid). Now I'm looking forward to my next 5k on Saturday to try and beat my time! After I received my award we went and had lunch at Chick-fil-a and then ran some errands.
After Eli's nap we all went to a crawfish party at our friend's house in New Waverly. They have the best property and boy do they know how to throw a party. Eli had a blast playing with all Lucy's toys. I couldn't even get him to to go in the pool with me and it sure was pool weather. The crawfish was awesome and we ate more then enough! Eli even had his 1st sip of beer. I was hoping that if I gave him a sip he wouldn't want it but that backfired on me! By the time we headed for home all 3 of us were exhausted but boy did we have a great time.
Eli liked the pretty pink purse!
Eli was oppsesed with this pink car and chased after Reagan to try and get it back.
Eli lost the car to Reagan because he stopped to get a cracker
Ronda blowing bubbles for the kids
Gotta love the milk gut Eli is sporting
Yummy crawfish that Brad Hahn ccoked
The pink car was in use so Eli settled with a wagon

Still trying to get some beer
Sunday morning we all got up and made it to church and Sunday school. When I went to pick up Eli from the nursery after Sunday school he didn't want to leave. I finally got him to come to the door by telling him we were going to GG's house. We left church and went straight to Kemah. When we got there Melissa, Jonathan and Caleb showed up shortly there after. We all sat down for hotdogs with GG's yummy chili. Eli ate his 1st ever hotdog. He pretty much ate the whole dog with out me even trying to get him to eat it! After lunch we all had a nice time visiting with each other before we got ready for our walk to the boardwalk. Last minute GG, Papa, and Derrill decided to come with us to the Blessing of the Fleet. We all had a great time walking the mile there and watching the boats. Eli loved the boats. It was a fabulous day and with awesome weather. I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Heading out to the board walk!
