Cooking with Eli

One of Eli's favorite things to do with me is cook.  Today while he was napping I saw on Pinterest crescent smores  and thought that would be a fun snack and project all rolled into one and bonus I already had all the ingredients (of course now we can't have crescent dogs for dinner on Saturday but the boy didn't know I was planning that for dinner and we have way to much leftovers as it so it all worked out for the best)!
First show silly little boy how to put the chocolate chips on the crescent dough but make sure he eats more chips then he puts on the dough.

Next have boy decide 5 mini marshmallows are the proper amount to go on each crescent dough triangle and have him put 5 marshmallows on each triangle.

Then show silly little boy how to roll up the crescents.

After rolling make your silly little boy pose with the rolled up dough so you can get a cute picture.

Then after the Diva wakes up and the rolls have cooked and cooled set your kiddos at the table to enjoy your yummy snack.

Next have your silly little boy remind you of your promise to put his tray on his booster seat (he has never used his tray before but wanted one like the Diva's and you happened to remember where you put the tray too)

Then have your silly little boy find out he can hook his feet under the Diva's chair and pull her closer.  But then have to separate them again because the Diva keeps stealing her brother's sippy.  Added bonus is that they had so much fun eating their snack together that you get to clean the kitchen with out the Diva on your hip and a silly little boy under foot!  They sat in their boosters for about 30 minutes playing with each other!

Another success!
