Pancakes, pancakes and more pancakes!

Saturday Eli and I went to Waller for Waller Baptist's community egg hunt. Thomas volunteered at the church so he couldn't come with us. My sister and her family were there too so I thought Eli would have a good time. I'm not sure Eli woke up feeling the best. That morning as we were killing time before we left for Waller Eli came up and sat in my lap and asked to watch tv. He never asks to watch tv in the mornings. He also really watched it without doing anything else. He only does that when he's sick. He wasn't running a fever, though, so we went on to Waller. When we finally got to the church Eli was excited to see Nana and they went to go find Papa. Papa was cleaning up from cooking breakfast for the church. He gave Eli a pancake and Eli would not let that pancake go. I asked Eli if mommy could have a bite of his pancake and he shook his head no. I asked if I could hold it for him and he shook his head no. Eli loved his pancake so much I couldn't get him to stop eating it to look for eggs!

After Everything was cleaned up from the breakfast and egg hunt Papa took Eli out to the playground to play. I wish I would have had my camera with me. It was funny to see my sixty something year old dad swinging and up on the playgroup equipment with Eli. After The play group we went over to Nana and Papa's house to hang out with everyone. Eli had a blast playing with his cousins. And while we were there, of course, Eli had another pancake! But he also ate a strawberry and liked it. He has had strawberries before but has always spit them out. Eli had so much fun with his cousins I had to tear him away so we could go home. I'm so glad that his cousins love playing with Eli.
