Overnight with Nana and Papa

Last night was my and Thomas's long awaited date night, that Thomas got me for Christmas. It was a date at the Viking Cooking School inside Hubble and Hudsen. I asked mom a while back to babysit and she said that she would like to take Eli to church with her the next day so we said ok. Thomas and I had a great time on our date night. The food was great and we learned a little. It was also a nice evening with just the 2 of us. I dropped Eli off at my parents Saturday and was back home around 3. The class didn't start till 6 so we had sometime at home with out Eli. We were surprised about how quiet the house seemed with out him here. Patches ended up getting a lot of attention Saturday before we left. Thomas and I also got to sleep in this morning. I woke up around 8 and then woke Thomas up at 8:30. We missed church but still made it to Sunday School. We both have not been sleeping well at all so sleeping in felt really nice and was much needed.

We met up with my parents in Waller at the Mexican restaurant. You have to love Waller you just say I'll meet you at the Mexican place and you know right where to go! While we were waiting on our food Eli wanted to try the salsa. He loved it! He was dipping his little chiplits in it. He was so cute dipping his chips, he had the whole pinky in the air thing going on and then he'd nibble the chip. After awhile he ave up on the chips and just went after the salsa with a spoon! I ordered him a grilled cheese (which of course he didn't touch) with French Fries. We gave Eli katsup with his fries for the first time. He loved dipping his frys in it! Now we are back home and Eli is napping and I'm sure Nana and Papa are trying to recuperate!

Yummy salsa and chips

I can't get much salsa with chips so I'll try a fork

A fork is not much better then a chip!

Let's try a spoon

Much better!

Yummy catchup!

Look how well I dip my fry in catchup!
