Hanging out at the Neighbors

We were having one of our wonderful Texas winter days so E and I were playing outside and our neighbor across the street decided to wash her car.  She also brought her little girl outside to enjoy the weather.  Mia broke her leg a couple of weeks ago so she is in a pretty big cast.  I brought E over to play with Mia but he was more interested in helping Petra wash her car!

Two of a Kind

Eli loves his daddy and wants to do everything his daddy does which include playing the PS3!

Bad Weather day!

Wow, It's been a while since I have updated my blog.

Last week the city of Houston and surrounding areas got frozen in. Which meant that Thomas was home but we couldn't go any where due to icy roads. So while house bond we tried to make the best of and kept E as busy as possible. E and I started our morning with our normal breakfast routine then daddy entertained E with lots of music videos. Once E tired of those I started in with some fun home activities.

We painted

023 024

We colored and did stickers.  (we also played play dough but I forgot to take a picture of that)

025 026

We had lunch of fruit and pizza quesadillas

Then Eli decided to do a little cooking of his own in the pantry.

After nap the temps raised enough that we all headed out to the mall to use our Groupon to Build-a-Bear.  Where E built a camo bear who he named Bear (very creative).  Once home I think he had more fun with the box then he did the bear.  After the mall we headed to Chick-fil-A to have dinner and use up some energy before bed.

We had the best day being cooped up inside!

Mommy's foot steps

I'm so glad my son wants to follow in my footsteps but does it have to be in my favorite pair of heels!

Cup Cake Anyone?

Eli was playing with his playdough today while I was cooking dinner and he say's, "mommy blow out the candles!" He said it was a cup cake. When I asked him who's birthday it was he said it was Jesus' birthday! Here are pictures of the playdough "cup cake" with "candles".

A little bear, a little chicken and some cheering up

Today was a fun busy day! E and I started our Monday morning out like normal. Well, maybe not so normal since I had to wake the boy up at 8:15, he never sleeps that late! I had to wake him up so we could start our fun busy day.

After the gym E and I head to what I believe is going to be E’s new favorite place, Bouncing Bears. When we got there E wouldn’t do anything but hang on me. I kept asking if he wanted to go down a slide and he wouldn’t. Finally Cindy asked if he wanted to go down the slide with her and he immediately went (boy am I feeling special!)

017

But after sliding with Cindy E was roaring to go. So he climbed the rock wall.

033

And slide down by himself

034

Then since he did so well on the last rock wall he climbed a harder one and after a few go arounds with mommy helping he did it all by himself!

036

Aubrey and E decided to go through the obstacle course together. E made me carry him through the whole thing. That was not an easy thing, these things are not made for adults!

044

Of course we had to spend time on the trampoline!

054

Then E decided to go down a slide with Amanda

060

After Bouncing Bears we decided to join Aubrey, her mommy and baby brother and Chick-fil-a. The manager came over and gave us all chick-fil-a hats.

001

The kids were hamming it up for the camera!

004

After nap time E decided to try on my workout gloves. I think he wants to give weight lifting a try.

063

Eli decided to wait a while before trying weight lifting so we went across the street to play with our neighbor Mia. Mia broke her leg yesterday so we went to go cheer her up. Eli even brought her a hat from Chick-fil-a.

065

They colored together.

071

They had milk and read books together.

080

Then Mia’s grandparents came over and they all played blocks.

084

After playing with Mia E and I went home to wait for Thomas to get home from work and have dinner. After dinner we all retreated to the play room where we had our nightly dance party. One of these days I will get that on video!
