With Chick-fil-A that is! If you couldn’t tell from our Halloween costume our family is a bit obsessed with Chick-fil-A. Today, one of the Chick-fil-A in our area was having Toddler time with Elmo. So of course we had to go to that. But before we could go we had to go to another obsession Starbucks. The way most kids recognize McDonalds is the way Eli recognizes Starbucks. When we go Eli gets a “smoothie”. Which is Horizons chocolate Milk. He goes right to the cooler gets his milk or “smoothie” and puts it on the counter so mommy can pay for it.
I think we go to this Starbucks too much because Eli acts like he owns the place!
After Starbucks we walked around Market Street, in the rain, for a bit. Which E loved because it meant we got to use the umbrella. Then we headed over to Chick-fil-a.
Eli was so excited to see Elmo I even bribed him to eat dinner last night by threatening not to see Elmo. But when it was finally our turn to see Elmo E got incredibly shy.
I wasn’t too impressed with Elmo at Chick-fil-a. All that Elmo did was take pictures with the kids. But we still had a blast! Several from our play group made it to Chick-fil-a too, so we got to eat lunch and play with them. The kids had so much fun playing together in the play area and the moms got to sit and finish our lunch while enjoying conversation with out ear deafening noise. When we got the kids ready to go a lady came around with free samples of their new Holiday shake. It was the perfect treat for the kids before heading home. We ended up spending almost 2 hours at Chick-fil-a.
