This morning I woke up to a nice surprise, E was not awake yet! For over a month now E has been wake up very early and getting on the game room couch to wait for us to get up or for the sun to come up so he can play with his toys. So I was very shocked to walk out of my room and not see E on the couch. Come to find out later E did wake up really early but Thomas went and put him in the glider to enjoy some rocking and E fell back asleep in the glider. That is where I found him when I went to wake him up this morning at 8.
Today our playgroup decide to have a play date at a house in anticipation of school’s being out for Columbus day and the parks being crowded. But the joke was on us because Conroe ISD didn’t have the day off! Oh well, we had a great time at Evann’s house.
Eli decided he wanted to be a princess for a day.

Tonight we had another dinner battle with Eli. Eli likes to put food in his mouth and then not eat it. He will keep it in his mouth forever he will even sleep with it in his mouth. I have been struggling with this issue since Eli had started eating solid food. Now Thomas is home in time to have dinner with Eli so he has taken over the dinner time battles. Tonight Eli was being so stubborn about not swallowing his food he had to go straight to the bath tub from the table and he was not allowed bath toys during his bath. Well, the no toy thing didn’t even phase E, he just had as much fun in the bath with no toys as he does with toys. After the bath was over and Thomas had E wrapped in a towel, E turns to Thomas and says, “Swallowed!” The little nut finally swallowed his food!
