Tonight we went to the First Baptist Church The Woodlands Picnic. It was so much fun we had such a blast. This picnic’s theme was Family Fall Fiesta. The church provided fajita meat and everyone else provided the fixin’s.
When we first got there E and I went to check out the turtle on the leash. E was not to happy that the turtle kept coming after him.
So we decided to go play some ball instead but E was not totally recovered from the turtle stand-off.
But a chip made everything so much better
So E was ready to play some Ball.
Ball playing didn’t last too long because E decided the bleachers were more enticing.
Eli tried to push his friend Benjamin on his trike but couldn’t quite do it so Benjamin got off (well his mommy took him off, same thing).
The E saw pretty Julia climb the monkey bars
So of course he had to have a go at it too.
We had a mariachi band come play for us.
Eli loved listening too them and stayed sitting down for over 3 songs which has to be a record of sitting still for E!
Benjamin Decided that he better let his daddy push him on the trike instead of E and E was happy to let his friends get rides on his bike.
E decided he wanted to train to play football.
He was using all the equipment that was laying out.
He even had to get one hit in.
After all that football training it was time for a sugar break. But everyone else had the same idea so we had to wait inline for some cotton candy.
E didn’t really care for the 1st bite of cotton candy
So he decided to feed it to mommy.
Mommy loves cotton candy!
He’s checking to make sure I ate it all
E decides that since mommy likes it so much he’d give it another shot.
He decided he still didn’t like it, oh well, more cotton candy for mommy!
This is E’s little buddy Hudson
The had a great time chasing each other on the playground equipment.
Eli thought he’d give the rope ladder a shot, think he needs to wait for a growth spurt to give it another try.
Last slide before going home.
We had so much fun at the picnic and brought home a very tired and dirty boy. We are so blessed to be involved with such a loving church.
