That's my boy!
Yesterday Eli and I went to H.E.B. at Market Street to pick up some new healthy food. It was raining yesterday but not too bad and I got the closest parking space you could possible get, without being handicapped, to the door. While I was trying to get Eli into the cart (the one that's like a car with a driving wheel for Eli to play with) an older gentleman came up to Eli with an umbrella and said to him, "this is an umbrella you need to tell your mom how to use one". Well, my son just freaked out! I had to take him out of the cart and could not get him back into it until we were far away from that guy. I whispered in Eli's ear, "I'm so proud of you!". What this "gentleman" doesn't realize is that I have an umbrella in my car but chose not to use it because I didn't think it was worth the hassle. I was proud of myself for keeping my mouth shut, I just smiled and walked away. Oh and the fresh natural peanut butter we picked up has to be the best tasting peanut butter I have ever had! I'm looking forward to trying the Steel cut oats too!
