After a fun filled weekend Eli woke up Monday morning with a 101.5 fever. So we had to cancel all our Monday plans. I took Eli to the doctor's that morning and Eli has his 1st ever ear infection. He also still has tonsillitis. So he is now on amoxicilin and the doctor wants to see him back in 10 days to make sure the tonsillitis is gone since he has had it since the beginning of Feb. Luckily the fever did not stick around and Eli was back to his crazy self by the end of the day on Monday. So Tuesday we still went to Bible Study. We had our normal routine on Wednesday. Eli is still not totally himself but I think that is because 3 of his canine teeth our coming in at once.
Thursday we made the trip down to League City to spend time with Melissa and Caleb. We had a wonderful day. Caleb seemed to be in good spirits and Eli wasn't too bad. Both boys were a bit clingy to their respective moms but not too bad. We walked the boys to Subway where the mommies got kids meal and then we walk over to the park and had a picnic with the boys. Both boys loved being outside. Caleb enjoyed the wind blowing in his face and Eli had a fun time running all over the equipment. Before we left I asked Eli to help pick up for Aunt Melissa and Eli (with some assistance from me) picked up all the toys and put them in the basket! I was so proud, not sure if Melissa wanted them all picked up but I'm proud none the less. Before we left to walk to Subway I asked Melissa if she wanted to turn her fireplace off. And she says I don't remember turning it on. She thought Mel must have turned it on while she was watching Caleb. Then I said I don't remember it being on when I got there. Then I remembered Eli was playing with a remote, Eli turned the fire place on! I totally forgot to take pictures! I seem to always forget to get the camera out when we are down there. Eli and I also got to see Caleb scoot backwards, so cute!
Today Eli and I had a busy day. We made it to the gym and then ran over to Target to get our little friend, Reagan, a get well gift. Then we ran over to their house to drop off the gift and say a quick hello. Then we had to run back over to Market Street to meet up with Rhonda and Jack. We had a great time walking around Market Street and the water way. Both boys were great and Jack even fell asleep on our walk! Tonight Thomas and I are taking Eli to Kids Night Out at the Church. This is the first time Eli is going. I hope all goes well. Thomas and I will get to have a small date night tonight.
I hope this weekend is as fun as the last weekend!
