So the Easter bunny brought E a spidy kite for Easter. Of course every day since Easter there has been no wind until today. After getting baby doll down for the night we went out to try and get Spidy to fly.

but now it’s not technically down….
and this is how a tired mommy flys a kite.
We should have know that a Spiderman kite wouldn’t fly well since spiders can’t fly…
After 2 months of trying baby doll finally ate solid food with out a fight, well I guess you can call it food, Puffs. We gotta start with something! Baby doll is already a bit of an independent little thing she will only eat if she feeds her self (or E feeds her), she’ll spit it out if I try to feed her!

We had an awesome Easter celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
The Easter bunny came and was very generous with the kiddos.
Hannah was the 1st up and was very excited about her peeps. Until she found out they were stuffed not candy!
So she decided to eat the grass instead!
The E got up and explored his basket.
E was very excited about his 1st chocolate Easter bunny (what was that bunny thinking giving my hyper child a chocolate bunny!)
HJ went to take a nap and E got to hunt the eggs the bunny hid. E decided the butterfly net was better used for eggs than butterflies.

Next we all made it to the pavilion for Easter service. One day I will get to see the whole service but I am so glad that I get to volunteer so that others may her the wonderful story of how Jesus rose from the dead!
After service we headed down to Baytown for the annual Leavins family reunion. After we eat (tons of yummy food!) we have a giant egg hunt for the kiddos.

After leaving the picnic the boys headed to a hockey game and the girls headed home. It was a wonderful crazy busy day but we wouldn’t have any other way!

This love St. Patty’s day we headed out the Houston Live stock show and rodeo (except we didn’t go to the rodeo)

Baby doll and I watched the boys ride rides.
We saw the Zen llama at the petting zoo (there were also some over aggressive goats there too).
E did the obstacle course 4 times (and only lost his boot once)!
We wore err.. ate fair food
Then we decided it was time to head home, but 1st we had to wade through a see of people to get out!
In order to get to our car we had to pass by the Texan’s practice bubble so in true Thomas fashion he had to take a picture of the field that was stacked up outside the bubble.
For the 1st time ever baby doll fell asleep in the stroller during my morning run this morning! Normally she screams the whole time in the stroller, that’s why I don’t like to run with the kids (that and running with a stroller is hard!) Normally I get up before the sun and any other sane person to run with the bats in the neighborhood. Since Thomas decided to run off to Mexico on vacation (actually for work but any place you can get a full night of sleep seems like vacation to me!) If I m going to get a run in it will have to be during the day (oh no people will actually see me run in the daylight!) with on or both of the kids. Baby doll and I ran (well, I ran she snored) the water way this morning. It was a great run, nice and cool and no screaming child!
Ain’t she cute! I’m so proud of the outfit, I got it at Gymboree for less than $10! I bet no one knew it was possible to get an outfit at Gymboree for less than $10 (a total of $9.25)
